What's Up Wednesday

I'm linking up with some of my faaaaavorite bloggers for the randomness that is What's Up Wednesday, where we answer the following:

What we're eating this week: I've recently decided to only meal plan for 4 days out of the week because we seem to always end up going rogue one day and doing leftovers, or just making something easy (i.e. Omelets or Popcorn). This week... well, this week doesn't count :) We hosted my parents, MIL, and sister's family for Ricky and my mom's birthday fiesta last Friday and had tons of leftover enchiladas. So we've had those twice this week already :) I also made Andrea's Pulled Pork and we are turning that into quesadillas tonight. Love it when dinner is practically made for me, especially the days that I work!

What I'm reminiscing about: I'd be lying if I told you baby fever wasn't starting up in my house again. Not really. But kind of! Campbell is turning into a toddler and I'm noticing it more and more as of late. It's making me totally miss the baby days and reminiscent of the naptimes on my chest and little baby squeaks. It's practically October, which means she will be one NEXT MONTH! Where does the time go!!

What I'm loving: In the same note, I am LOVING the stage CC is in! Crawling everywhere, playing with sister, saying "mama" and actually meaning me! So so sweet.

What we've been up to: This month has been busy! And next month is making me tired just thinking about it. Ricky's been finishing up a class so he can get his appraisal certification so we have been busy balancing it all as he works late, studies, etc. I'm so thankful to be married to a guy who works so hard for our family! Everything seems to be back in full swing, so between work, tests, swim lessons, dance class, school...we are busy!

What I'm dreading: Hadley had a filling yesterday (yes we brush her teeth. yes I sometimes even floss) and has to get another one next week. She apparently has really deep grooves in her back teeth, so genes-wise, it's just unfortunate. (Got her daddy's teeth...hopefully she got his eyes too though!) She did awesome at the appointment but she's been pretty uncomfortable and swollen since. Not excited for round 2.

What I'm working on: Campbell's first birthday party!!

What I'm excited about: FALLLLLLLLLLLLLL. State fair season! The Tulsa State Fair kicks off tomorrow, but we are going to the Texas State Fair next week and I'm super excited!

What I'm watching/reading: Have you guys been watching This is Us? SO good! Seriously. Drop what you're doing and go watch it. They say if you like Parenthood (and who doesn't!), then you will like This is Us and so far - they are right on the money! Plus it has Jess from Gilmore Girls on it, so there's that.

Also binging on Suits and The Good Wife when I get a few seconds to myself, and the last few episodes of this season's Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders Making the Team. Am I the only person that cries at the end when the girls find out they made the team??

What I'm listening to: I'm honestly not much of a music buff. My usual Spotify playlists of worship music or country is pretty much my go to when I turn on some tunes.

What I'm wearing: Anybody else just really ready for a new wardrobe?! I've definitely been eyeing the fall side of my closet and waiting for the temps to drop a little bit more. Tomorrow looks like it's going to be a PERFECT day for boots to make an appearance :)

What I'm doing this weekend: Birthday party, brunch, church, football. Pretty low key and I'm definitely ok with that.

What I'm looking forward to next month: Next month kicks off strong with a super busy week, but I've been looking forward to it for so long! BBQ with friends, Daniel Tiger Live with Hadley, and then down to Dallas to see friends and do the fair. We are headed to Eureka Springs, Arkansas with my family in the middle of the month which is something we've done pretty much every year since I was super little, so I'm excited for the beautiful trees, crisp air, and some time away. It's such a funny, quaint little town and I have so many wonderful memories there!

What else is new: Not much! The girls have settled into their new routines, and I think we've hit a new groove. September has been great but I heart October. <3
